The gang on the first tee at
Butlers' Saturday morning. Left to right: Dave Tutelman, Gary Hayenga,
Terry Easton, Dave "Thor" Collard, John "Mr.JFB" Balogh, and Fred
Stluka. In case you're wondering how Terry got into the picture, the
starter at Butler's was very cooperative. He also remembered us from
past years; he's the same guy who was there back in 1997 at the first
RSG-Pittsburgh.

The gang on the first tee at
Cedarbrook Sunday morning. Slightly different cast of characters, but
Cedarbrook's starter is also cooperative. Ken Learman (third from left)
joined us for the day.

Our final threesome finishes the
last hole of the weekend. Ken, DaveT, and Mr.JFB shake hands while Thor
replaces the flagstick.
You can get a slight idea from this picture of just how steep uphill
the 18th hole at Cedarbrook is. You are looking straight down the
fairway. Since the eye does not do justice to the steepness in a
2-dimensional picture, here are a few things to note:
- You see the upper half of two golfers in the background.
They are waiting in the fairway to hit their approach shots. This
picture was taken from a pretty high hill above the green, and the
golfers are still half-hidden by the dropoff.
- Note the angle you are viewing Interstate 70 in the
background, as it enters its bridge across the Youghiogheny River.
